Service Sinistre Outaouais is a disaster recovery specialist whose services include construction, restoration, and decontamination. Located in Gatineau in the Outaouais region, our firm was founded in 2001 by Jean‑François Léger and Richard Barnett.
Over the years, our specialist teams have used state-of-the-art equipment to assist more than 10,000 Outaouais disaster victims. Our quick and well-planned responses, which grow more efficient by the week, minimize losses and protect property at risk of damage after a disaster.

For most people affected by a flood, wind storm, vandalism, or contamination, it is their first such experience. They are often shocked and devastated and may feel stress, uncertainty, and even panic. That’s where Service Sinistre Outaouais comes in. Whether for a home or a business, it is our role and mission to protect the scene, support and reassure victims, and restore the site to its previous condition.
Once on scene, our team works to protect the site, minimize damage, and make the area safe by setting up a security perimeter. We then take time to reassure victims, answer their questions, explain the next steps, and offer support and guidance throughout the process. Lastly, we restore the site to its prior condition.
